How Praxis Science Lab handles information for this Android app.
Effective date: 2026-09-17. This notice describes Android version 0.10.0 (10) and the configuration documented below.
Praxis Science Lab is the publishing brand used by Traian Anghel. For support or privacy questions, email traiananghel@gmail.com. Include the app name and version. Do not send passwords, medical records, private recordings or other sensitive information.
Information handled by the app
Battery readings, history, reports, preferences and the latest widget reading are processed on your device. History is off by default. Free retains up to seven days and verified Pro up to 90 days. No app account or cloud synchronization is required. Android cloud backup and device transfer are excluded.
Permissions, services and sharing
Notification permission is requested for alerts. Battery readings do not require location, contacts, microphone or camera access. Export uses the Android document picker; the chosen provider may synchronize your files.
When purchases are configured, Google Play handles payment. The verification service receives the purchase token, a random installation identifier and network information such as IP address, and returns a signed access certificate. We do not receive payment-card details. Verified offline access lasts up to seven days.
When enabled, Free may show one banner in Settings. Google AdMob and UMP may process IP address, approximate location, identifiers, interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Applicable privacy options are available in Settings. Pro stops new ad requests. Battery history is not sent to advertising services by the app. Google privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy .
Version 0.10.0 has purchases and advertising disabled pending configuration. Firebase Crashlytics and a separate analytics service are not included. Android and Google Play may collect diagnostics under their own settings.
Retention and deletion
History → Delete history removes stored samples and reports and pauses collection; alert preferences and the latest widget reading remain. Clearing Android app storage removes all app data, including preferences and the local purchase certificate. Exported files remain at the destination you choose. After verified Pro access is lost, a seven-day grace window permits export of earlier retained readings before Free retention resumes. Restoring after clearing data requires an online purchase check. Retention at a future hosted verification gateway must be documented before activation.
Security
Private app files use Android application storage protections. No additional database-encryption guarantee is made. Keep your device protected and control access to files you export. There is no Praxis Science Lab account to delete for this app.
Support messages and external pages
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and resolve the issue, not for advertising. Correspondence remains only as needed for that purpose and any applicable legal obligations; you can request deletion. Our email provider processes messages under its own terms. We do not sell support correspondence.
Opening this policy or other external links sends ordinary connection information to the website or browser provider. See our website privacy notice. App-local data is not automatically included in those requests.
Your choices
You can clear local data and use the contact above to ask about support correspondence or request access, correction or deletion where applicable. We may need information to identify the relevant request. You may also contact your local data protection authority. Local app information is processed to provide the functions you use; support correspondence is processed to respond to your request.

We update this notice when app behavior or relevant practices change. The date and version above identify the policy you are reading.
